I recently had the opportunity to drive down to Santa Barbara to see art restorers work on a Banksy piece. It was taken off a Victorian home to be preserved in a frame.

If you’ve ever passed through San Francisco you’ve probably seen furniture hanging off the side of the Hugo Hotel. The city has recently decided to clear the old building and create new homes in its place. I had the opportunity to photograph the artist and his crew as they dismantled the art piece that towered over the corner of Howard and 6th St. since 1997.
